Waste in, material out
The flecked grey of our felt is the recycled fibre that makes it — sorted textile waste opened, blended and needle-punched into something strong and useful. Recycled fibre keeps our input cost down, which is part of how we hold a competitive price on the felt you order.
If you're building your own sustainability claims, that recycled content is genuine input we can speak to directly — not a marketing footnote added after the fact. Specifics for a retailer, an OEM or an ESG conversation can be discussed and documented on request.

Working toward GRS alignment
We're working toward Global Recycled Standard (GRS) alignment in our sourcing and production. We are not currently GRS certified and don't claim official certification.

- Yes. Our felt is made from recycled textile fibre, mechanically needle-punched with no chemical binders — diverting textile waste from landfill while producing a durable, useful material.
- Are chemical binders used?
- No. The fibres are bonded mechanically by needle punching and heat-set in an oven, so no chemical binders are needed.
